The history of Polish Kendo began in November 1973, when the first Kendo club was established in the city of £ód¼ by the effort of Takao Mizushima. At that time the interest in eastern martial arts was just beginning to grow. Today, hundreds of people practice Kendo in 18 Polish cities.
